Kansas artist Debra Clemente's painting process is as unique as each work of art she creates. Wielding one tool, a large sturdy palette knife, Clemente paints: mixing, smoothing, layering, pushing, scratching and scraping oil paint on the canvas. The resulting work retains the evidence of her energy and passion, delighting the eye from a distance as well upon close study.
